When these are added into your hair care products and get washed out, they enter into and harm our water ecosystem. Sulfate also strip hair's natural oils needed for protection and moisture, as well as the color from color-treated hair.
Parabens have been linked to ecological harm because of their chemical makeup and are even used as pesticides. Not only are they bad for the environment but they're bad for your head, too. Parabens are known to cause irritation in the scalp, creating dry hair and even leading to hair loss.
