Are there any preservatives in HERA products?
Some of our products contain non-harmful preservatives like Behentrimonium Chloride, Ethylhexylglycerin and Phenoxyethanol. Ingredients like these are meant to limit the growth of bacteria and condition the hair. They are often naturally derived from plants.

Does HERA test on animals?
We are proud to say that all of our products are cruelty-free, meaning we never test on animals!

Do HERA products contain sulfate or paraben?
We want nothing but the best for our Goddesses, so we make sure that all of our products are sulfate- and paraben-free. 

Can I mix and match HERA with other brands?
Sure! Our products are safe to use with other hair care products, however we’ve designed our products to compliment each other perfectly, so for the best results we recommend sticking with HERA throughout your entire hair care routine.

Are HERA products safe for extensions?
Yes! When we originally started creating our products, we knew this was a must. Our unique formula is safe to use for all hair types, including extensions.

Are HERA products safe for color treated hair?
Yes! Our unique formula is safe to use for all hair types, including colored hair. This is why our products do not include parabens, sulfate, or silicone.

Are HERA products safe for chemically treated hair?
Yes! Our unique formula is safe to use for all hair types, especially chemically-treated hair. Our ingredients lock in moisture and repair the damage created by chemical treatments.

Are HERA products safe for textured hair?
Yes! We weren’t kidding when we said HERA is for everyone. Our unique formula is safe to use for all hair types, including textured hair. Our Starlit Smoothing Serum and Goddess Gloss is the perfect combo to eliminate frizz.

How long do HERA products last?
HERA products are shelf stable for up to 3 years.

Are HERA Products safe for thin hair?
Yes! We know that intense moisture can sound intimidating for thinner hair, but we made sure our products don’t weigh down our Goddess’ hair. Another great perk of having Sulfate, Silicone, and Paraben Free products!

Service FAQs

How do I request a specific HERA Glam Goddess to be my stylist?
All our stylists go through the same process and are held to the same salon-quality standard, but we get that people have favorites! That is why we allow our Goddesses to choose their stylists (AKA Glam Goddesses) as part of their booking process!

What is HERA’s cancellation policy?
Stuff happens - we get it! We ask that cancellations are made 24 hours in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts, but we acknowledge up to 3 hours in advance. Anything past 3 hours after your appointment is approved will be subject to a 50%cancellation charge.

How do I prepare for my appointment?
Our stylists will bring the equipment - all you have to do is provide the space, a chair and a clean sink! Please make sure that there is enough counter space close enough to an outlet for any tools to be plugged in during service. It is easiest for the stylist to wash your hair in a clean sink and will be most comfortable for you as well. For more details check out our How It Works page. 

When do I get charged?
Payment won’t be processed until after an appointment is complete!

Can I gift a service to a friend for a special occasion?
Yes! Absolutely, we encourage you to gift this amazing service to a friend for their birthday, new mama, bridal shower, valentines day, holiday party, the list goes on and on!

Can I book an appointment for a friend and myself at the same time?
You definitely can! That is half the fun during this service, get your Girl Squad together! All appointments must be confirmed by a Glam Goddess or team of Glam Goddesses to assure that each person will be styled in a timely manner. *Note- One Glam Goddess can work on multiple people depending on the party's timeline.

What if I am a soon-to-be Bride? Can I schedule a trial run?
Yes! We have an entire section dedicated to our beautiful brides on the the App where you can find more detailed information.

I have ethnic hair, am I able to choose a specific stylist that specializes in my texture of hair?
Absolutely! Each one of our Glam Goddesses have a detailed profile that shows their specialties, you can choose that stylist based on your location. If the Glam Goddess is out of your area, our customer service team can help find the perfect match for you!

Can I request a stylist to wear a mask in my home if I feel uncomfortable?
We 100% want you to feel comfortable in your own home and your safety is our number one goal. You can make a request on the "anything we should know" section and the Glam Goddess will be notified.
